Emilie needs $7000 to go on her trip. This includes what she will raise herself. Every 2 weeks I will post what we have raised and what we still need. Thanks to you all! If you want your name listed as a contributer please note that on your donation, or email me with your name, city and state.
Emilie will be prepared for success in a globalized world through international travel and positive, life-changing educational experiences. These programs help young people build self confidence, establish lasting friendships, and gain greater understanding of people and cultures around the world.

Meet Emilie:

Age: 16
Grade: 11th
Goals: Teaching

Emilie currently takes Orientation to Teaching at her high school. Every day she travels to a local elementary school and teaches there during her 7th period. This is part of her grade, but will also pose as an internship experience on her resume.
Knowing the lack of kindness and love people possess  today Emilie hopes to help improve the world by reaching children at a young age and directing them on a path to discover not just intellectual and clever wisdom but the infinite wisdom of love, self-respect, and compassion.

"One day they may forget how to do Algebra. They may not remember any element of the periodic table. They may even forget the author of their favorite Literature book. But they will never forget how to love, how to show kindness to others, how to respect themselves, and how to succeed in every thing they do if they do it with love. That's what I count on reaching my students with day after day. It's a fool proof strategy because love never fails."

Now I'd like to ask you to show love and kindness and donate to help with Emilie's trip. The family can not afford the costs alone. Emilie will be doing about 15 different fundraisers to help pay for her trip. She is working very hard and manages to keep up her grades as well. Give her a hand, will you? There is no donation to small. Help pave the way for this young girls future.
Thank you.
